Dr. Joyce Sanchez
Dr. Joyce Sanchez is a graduate of the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine, where she stayed to complete her internal medicine residency. She received her infectious disease fellowship training at Stanford Hospital and the University of Minnesota. She began her career at the Mayo Clinic in Minnesota. In 2017, she joined the Medical College of Wisconsin as an assistant professor of medicine where she serves as director of the Travel Health Clinic within the Division of Infectious Diseases. Dr. Sanchez has spoken at several national and international platforms on infectious disease topics. Her interests include travel and tropical medicine, outbreaks, vector-borne illness and medical education.
