Dick Larson was born and raised in Milwaukee. He attended Washington H.S. and UW-Madison. He is a Korean Vet , married with four children. After college, Larson worked for Curtis Inc. in Milwaukee as an engineer and eventually as VP of Sales and Marketing for 14 years. He started his own business in 1969, Larsen Assoc. Inc. This was a technical sales firm ( Manufacturers Rep) in the electronics industry. Larson’s company became the largest firm of its kind based in Wisconsin, representing firms such as Rockwell Semiconductor, North American Phillips, Siemans, Fairchild Semiconductor, and others. He sold the business in 1993 and began his second life. During ownership of his own business, he taught a course at the UW-Madison Management Institute of the business cchool for 15 years.
