Deidre Peroff, PhD

Dr. Peroff is Wisconsin Sea Grant’s social scientist and runs a field office at UW-Milwaukee’s School of Freshwater Sciences. There, she uses social science methods and theory to improve access to water resources among underserved communities, to facilitate environmental and place-based education and to support the well-being and resiliency of Great Lakes coastal communities. In addition to research, she has taught environmental and outdoor education for many years and enjoys going on outside adventures whenever possible.
