Deanne Lautenbach has been a deaf-blind specialist, teacher and support service provider (SSP) at the Center for Deaf-Blind Persons (CDBP) for 12 years. Deanne has a Bachelor of Science in exceptional education with an emphasis in ASL from UW-Milwaukee. She also holds a post-baccalaureate Certificate in Teaching – Mathematics and Computer Applications from Cardinal Stritch University. Deanne worked as an interpreter in the public schools as well as a freelance interpreter for more than 15 years. Deanne’s duties include teaching independent living skills, communication and leisure skills classes. Deanne also works in the community as an SSP and at WISH events when possible.
