David Howell is a professor in the Humanities Department at the Milwaukee School of Engineering. He teaches courses in creative thinking, creative non-fiction, ethics, composition and research methods. He received an MFA in poetry from the University of Alaska, Fairbanks and an individual interdisciplinary PhD from Washington State University. When he’s not teaching, reading or writing, he’s riding one of his bikes. He lives in Mequon, Wisconsin with his wife, dog and cats.
