David Howell is a professor in the Humanities Department at the Milwaukee School of Engineering. He teaches courses in creative thinking, ethics, composition and research methods. He received an M.F.A. in poetry from the University of Alaska, Fairbanks and an individual interdisciplinary Ph.D. from Washington State University. When he’s not teaching, reading or writing, he’s riding one of his bikes. He lives in Whitefish Bay, Wisconsin, with his wife, dog and cats.
