Dave Westenberg, Ph.D.

Dave Westenberg is a microbiologist fascinated with the diversity of the microbial world. While the vast majority of microorganisms are harmless and even beneficial, one can’t ignore the fact that some microorganisms cause disease. Dave enjoys the challenge of juggling these two very different concepts and sharing the excitement of the microbial world with others. Dave has a BS in microbiology and public health and a PhD in microbiology and molecular science.
