Darlene Winter

Darlene Winter has been an active member of Zoo Pride for almost 20 years. She is a docent and volunteers for special events as well as in the primate and apes area at the Milwaukee County Zoo and Zoological Society. Darlene is the author of book “I Remember Samson” who was the most famous gorilla at the zoo and also co-author of the book “Images of America: Milwaukee County Zoo” and regularly attends Osher courses and talks. She has a degree in professional communications from Alverno College.
