Clark Evans

Clark Evans is a professor with and chair of UWM’s Atmospheric Science Program. He has been a member of UWM’s faculty since 2011. He specializes in hurricanes, particularly after they make landfall or when they move from the tropics to higher latitudes, and severe thunderstorms. In addition to his research, he serves the broader meteorological community as an editor for the Monthly Weather Review professional journal and chair of the American Meteorological Society’s Committee on Weather Analysis and Forecasting and Annual Meeting Oversight Committee.
