Christina Ward is a writer and Vice-President of Feral House Publishing. Her 2017 publication, “Preservation – The Art and Science of Canning, Fermentation and Dehydration” is short-listed for national and regional food writing awards, and her second book “American Advertising Cookbooks-How Corporations Taught Us to Love, Spam, Bananas, and Jell-O” was cited by Florence Fabricant in The New York Times and Christopher Kimball of Milk Street Radio as important. Christina has a mission to preserve the lost narratives of women’s lives. She is a regular guest food expert on the Fox6 News Real Milwaukee television program and on public radio stations across the United States. Christina can trace her Milwaukee and Wisconsin roots to the early 1800s. Her love of history comes from her father who instilled in her the idea that we are all manifestations of our ancestors.
