Barbara Leigh

Barbara Leigh, Ph.D., Artistic/Producing Director of Milwaukee Public Theatre, was in a serious accident in December of 1987 in which she suffered a spinal cord injury and was partially paralyzed. As part of the healing process she created a one-woman show, THE SURVIVAL REVIVAL REVUE. The production is a whimsical and farcical musical comedy/revue that tells the story of Ms. Leigh’s spinal cord injury from the night before the accident to the day she leaves the hospital.
