Andrea Kaminski is executive director of the League of Women Voters of Wisconsin, a nonpartisan, grassroots organization advocating for active and informed participation in government. She came to the League in 2004 with a background in nonprofit management. Previously, she was director of development with the Meriter Foundation, where she raised funds for a new child and adolescent psychiatric hospital and other programs. Andrea served on the 2015 Redistricting Subcommittee of the Dane County Board of Supervisors. She is a member of Madison Downtown Rotary, where she recently co-chaired a committee that brought a delegation of Russian businesswomen to Madison for a professional and cultural exchange. Andrea was nominated for The Business Forum’s 2015 ATHENA Award. Previously she has served on the Madison Election Advisory Committee, the 2010 Joint Legislative Council Special Committee on Judicial Discipline and Recusal, and the Board of Directors of the Urban League of Greater Madison. Andrea lives in Madison with her husband and enjoys kayaking on Wisconsin’s lakes and rivers.
