Amber Hendley
Amber S. Hendley, a passionate researcher, educator and activist, has spent the last two years overseeing a research project at Roosevelt University that examines housing discrimination patterns in Chicago’s rental market. She coauthored “The Plunder of Black Wealth in Chicago: New Findings on the Lasting Toll of Predatory Housing Contracts,” a publication that quantified the amount legally extracted from the Black community in Chicago through predatory residential contract selling during the Second Great Migration.
