Words for Water

Gr. 3-5

Wisconsin borders some of the Great Lakes. Its unique position creates an opportunity to consider the myriad of ways that water is central to our daily lives and geographic identities. Join us for a truly interdisciplinary course where you learn about everything from water’s role in indigenous stories to strategies for water conservation. This course joins elements of cultural studies and social studies with science and storytelling. We have the opportunity to consider all ways that water affects our common experience of living in Wisconsin.
