Polish Americans & Sports in MKE

Among the many contributions of immigrants and their descendants to American life and culture is the notable and colorful role they have played in the development and history of sport in the United States. The course examines this theme focusing on selected topics involving Polish Americans and sport in Milwaukee, with an emphasis on the role of sport as an important part of the fabric of life in an ethnic community.
