Nicholas Roerich, the Roerich Pact and the Banner of Peace

Nicholas Roerich (1874–1947) was a Russian artist who witnessed the ruin of cultural artifacts through neglect and the devastation of war. The first class is devoted to Roerich’s interesting life and art, while the pact and its history is addressed in the second class.
