Milwaukee Street Names

This talk provides an overview of Milwaukee street naming from 1835 to the present, including the haphazard way which streets were named by developers and the problems that they caused in travel around the city, the massive changes that were required to develop a uniform street-naming program nearly a century later and how that effort has been undermined today.
