Mayan Adventure

This is a time of exciting applications of new technologies in field work in archaeology and anthropology. Explore the critical elements of a civilization and the use of LIDAR laser mapping of remote Mayan sites. Examine Tikal in Guatemala and Uxmal in Yucatan, Mexico. Take a look at Mayan pieces on display in the National Museum of Anthropology, Mexico City and at the future of discovery in the Mayan Biosphere in remote Guatemala.
