In Flanders Fields: Poems of WW I
In honor of Veteran’s Day, this talk will introduce some of the powerful and moving poems of the First World War (1914-1918). Whether on the front lines or the home front, whether German, French, English or American, men and women affected by war expressed their patriotism, sacrifice and trauma through verse.
