History of Film

Gr. 9-12

What did Hollywood look like in the very beginning? This class explores the early years of the film industry, from the late 1800s to the World War II era. Accompanying film screenings will allow us to study the cultural and societal significance of the films that have contributed to what we know as filmmaking today.
