Family Watershed Exploration
Are you looking for a reason to head outdoors to enjoy the spring weather? Would you like to know more about your local waterways? Join the UWM School of Freshwater Sciences in an exploration of watersheds. Water is key to our health and our way of life. We all need it to survive. In this class you learn about area watersheds, aquatic food systems, how water gets to your tap, and what you can do to help the Great Lakes while exploring nature.
Note: This class is intended for student participation with the assistance of an adult. The program includes virtual sessions with additional activities to complete outdoors. A small kit of supplies is provided.
