Carole King’s 1960’s Songbook

Carole King’s 1971 Tapestry album is one of the most critically acclaimed and highest selling records in pop music history. What is lesser known however is the string of hit songs she wrote for a variety of artists in the previous decade. This two-week course will take a musical journey back to the beginning of King’s career while discussing and playing many of the classic tunes that we all know and love from the 1960’s.
