This session provides a foundational understanding of the LGBTQIA+ acronym and the diverse identities it represents. Participants will explore key terms, concepts and issues faced by these communities, along with strategies for creating inclusive, supportive environments. Through guided discussions, participants will gain insights into the cultural, social and psychological aspects of gender and sexual diversity, enhancing their ability to offer affirming support to individuals within these groups.
