Amazon Rainforest Studies

Gr. 6-8

What is it like in the Amazon rainforest? Who lives high up in the forest canopy, and what exactly swims and slithers in the Amazon River far below? Meet a mighty Anaconda. Encounter a catfish that’s 300 pounds. Listen to Howler monkeys, touch Piranha fish teeth, see amazing Morpho butterfly wings, and all kinds of other wonderful things. And the most important thing is that you can discover how a very delicate balance of nature keeps all these things going within a tropical rainforest. Oh yeah, and did you know that there’s a spider that eats birds? Want to see it? Get into this class!
