Addictions and the Older Adult

Addictions do not just impact young folks, the aging population is also falling victim to addictions. Learn how addiction displays itself in the older adult, in particular gambling, alcohol and drug problems. Abuse and addiction in the older adult is different than what presents with younger people, thus intervention, treatment and aftercare are also quite different. This workshop is for people fearful for themselves, worried about friends and family or for professional caregivers.
