SARUP celebrates the return of Herbert Dreiseitl as its distinguished (virtual) visiting critic of the school’s 2020 Urban Edge Studio: Milwaukee as a Carbon Neutral and Water-Centric EcoCity.

Dreiseitl will present the Urban Edge Prize Lecture, “Fluid Thinking,” at 1:30 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 18. “Fluid Thinking” launches the Urban Edge 2020 weekly lecture series: “Water and the Port Cities of the Great Lakes Basin.” Organized by Urban Edge Studio lead and Architecture Professor James Wasley, the Urban Edge Lecture Series presents Friday virtual lectures featuring ecologists, landscape architects and urban designers from around the Great Lakes Basin and the world.
