Event Description

A lot can change in thirty years. Join us for a glimpse into Orfordville’s future – presented in speculative models and drawings made by a team of student researchers from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee School of Architecture and Urban Planning. This visioning excercise looks ahead to the year 2050 based on demographic, economic, and technology trends, commuter patterns, and a growing nationwide interest in rural communities. Orfordville has a grand past, and its future looks even brighter. Stop by and learn why. See what the downtown might look like. Meet some of your village board members. Get the holiday season rolling with good conversation and optimistic ideas.
