We take 2D DWG layouts that we get from customers and put them into Autodesk Inventor. I had no Inventor experience prior to working here – we do all that training. The 3D layout is then exported into Excel where we adjust the system’s Bill of Materials. We then export the 3D layout from inventor into AutoCAD to generate the 2D Installation drawings. Anyone with ambition, a willingness to learn and AutoCAD experience will do wonderfully. The work Environment here at Hilmot is fast paced and high energy. We work on large, high profile projects.
