Student Architect (Intermediate II) – The Student Architect is an intermediate level position. It is expected that a student hired into or promoted to this position will possess advanced production skills for four of the eight areas listed below. The student employee will show initiative in learning and advancing those skills, which will be useful in advancing to an Architect – Advanced student position. The position allows for professional development specific to skills in IT infrastructure and Architecture. Qualifications & Expectations: CAD software, experience, Database software experience, Must have superior knowledge of Windows operating systems, Good organizational and communication skills, Must have 16-25 hours available between 6:00am and 6:00pm Monday through Friday, Year-round position with 40 hours (Summer) available, A commitment of at least two semesters in this position is required, Abide by all UITS work rules/practices specifically outlined but not limited to the Student Employment Handbook.

I’m willing to invest some time training the person on how to create construction documents, etc. The position would be mostly remote. Designer/architect would translate layout preferences into design programs for 3D modeling of alternatives.
