BIO

Dr. Laxmi Ramasubramanian is an architect, certified urban planner, and the Chair of the San Jose State University Department of Urban and Regional Planning. Her research focuses on environmental sustainability and gender, equity, and inclusion. Professor Ramasubramanian is an alumna of the Ph.D. in Architecture program of the School of Architecture and Urban Planning (SARUP), UW-Milwaukee.
