Nicholas Straube is a designer at Rinka Chung Architecture, practicing artist who has exhibited his work locally, nationally and internationally, and an Adjunct Professor at UWM. Nicholas is particularly interested in representation as a means of inquiry into what it means to be human, and all the exciting, absurd, mundane, nasty and amusing stuff that goes along with that. At work, he mostly designs banks, which can be all of the above as well. Before his career in architecture Nicholas taught K-12 students for several years and worked as an art handler for various galleries and institutions in New York City.
