Bio

Sharadha received her Master’s in Information and Library Studies from the University of Michigan. She worked in public, medical, research and academic libraries before joining the School as Special Librarian in 2001. As a result of her background, she is a holistic and mult-faceted thinker. Her focus is to educate students in the importance of quality research methods and materials, and to provide a source for solutions in the demanding environment of architecture and planning studies.

Sharadha’s attention to students extends beyond the time they spend at the School. She works with graduating students and alumni in all stages of their career, providing services that include resume and portfolio review, and guidance through the processes of networking, application for positions and interviewing.

In 2010, Sharadha added the role of Executive Assistant to the Dean to her responsibilities, and coordinates and supports the activities of the Dean.

For her achievements in both roles, Sharadha has been recognized with a UWM Academic Staff Outstanding Performance and Service Award and a UWM Academic Staff Professional Development Award.
