Bio

Larry is currently the Deputy Director for the City of Madison’s Community Development Authority (CDA) in charge of overseeing the Public Housing Authority. His responsibilities include administering approximately 2,000 Housing Choice Vouchers and managing nearly 900 Public and Multifamily housing units. Additionally, Larry is involved in the redevelopment and repositioning of Public Housing units in Madison. Prior to his current role, Larry oversaw the City of Milwaukee’s Neighborhood Improvement Development Corporation (NIDC) which focused on redeveloping and rehabbing 1–4-unit buildings in Milwaukee’s residential neighborhoods. Larry’s other professional experiences include managing the housing rehabilitation division for a Milwaukee-based non-profit Community Development Corporation, developing master plans and plan amendments for the State of Wisconsin’s Department of Natural Resources, and developing schematic/DD/CD building sets for a Milwaukee-based architectural firm.
