Lecture Summary:

Given the current relevance and perceived tension on our border with Mexico, Eddie Jones will demonstrate, by example, the positive impact thoughtfully designed land ports of entry can have on the image of America.

BIO:

Eddie Jones is founder and principal of Jones Studio. Born in Texas and raised in Oklahoma, Eddie graduated from Oklahoma State University and opened his own studio in Arizona in 1979. For over forty years, he has led our studio with persistent optimism through his enduring commitment to sustainability and his intrepid spirit for innovative design. Eddie holds the rare ability to create responsive architecture, timeless in design yet bound distinctively to its place. His sense for space, materials, and detail—inspired by nature and those who came before—is the foundation of all our work.
