The Commons: Cooperatively Funded Commercial Development” presentation by Antonio Butts: Executive Director, Walnut Way Conservation Corp.

Lecture Summary

Walnut Way Conservation Corp. founded by residents in 2000, Walnut Way works to engage and revitalize the historic Lindsay Heights neighborhood on Milwaukee’s near-Northside. Antonio will share the planning process to develop The Innovations and Wellness Commons (aka The Commons), a community-driven, cooperatively funded multi-use commercial development on the corner of 16th and North. He will discuss the successes and best practices as well as insights to improve for future planning.
