Bio

Since a young age I always enjoyed taking ideas from my imagination and making it real. In fact it became a hobby of mine through Art. Drawing is something that remained a constant throughout my life, and through the years I have been able to sharpen my drawing abilities. This took time through years of educating myself in various “traditional” Art classes. I was then exposed to design for the first time in high school and everything clicked. I knew then that I wanted to immerse myself within the design world, and knew I would be able to feed my creative hunger there. I made it a goal to apply and combine my accumulated Art knowledge/ability through the scope of design.

After nearly 4 years of being immersed in Design and Visual Communication, I learned to be proficient with Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign. Along with this, I continued to sharpen my artistic abilities and explored creativity through a variety of Art mediums including: printmaking, digital, 3d, painting, and drawing. Continuously driven as a creative, I plan to make use of my creative thinking and artistic arsenal as a ways to constantly refine my identity as a designer.

Description

My manifesto deals with knowing who you are as an individual and being rooted in this knowledge. I truly believe that what you wear, and how you wear it is an expression of yourself. This is why it is called “your” style. Your style is your own version of yourself. Other than being passionate about apparel design, I want to incorporate my personal style into this manifesto: through the combination of my illustration style, design style, and my style-style.
