Odyssey is a community-based digital platform, for immigrants and first-generation Americans in Milwaukee. Our goal at Odyssey is to cultivate a strong community, where immigrants can reach out to others who’ve lived through similar experiences. These individuals act as personal resources to new immigrants who do not have access to services such as financial assistance, healthcare, English classes, and many more aspects of American culture.

Odyssey’s community is built up like most others, through kindness and compassion; however, it is the experience of our members and their willingness to share that sets us apart. Our community encourages diverse approaches, inclusivity, and openness. We believe that by sharing mutual experiences between first-generation immigrants and others in their community, we can build an open environment that provides resources for immigrants, as well as encourages assimilation on a larger scale.
