Description

Family is what inspired this Manifesto and love is what motivated it. This manifesto is intended to be a memorial for my Father who passed away in November. It portrays the loves story my parents had which continues to my birth, to becoming a big sister and more. As an individual, I am private and value keeping the important aspects of my life closer to my heart. With this manifesto, I step out of my comfort zone and allow individuals to literally walk into this concealed space which symbolizes, what I call, my life. My manifesto describes the actions of love which is expressed by different members of significant individuals around me. The use of mirror symbolizes my constant self-reflection status which represents my Islamic beliefs, and was pushed to extreme limits when my father passed. It also encourages the viewer to reflect on what love truly means to them.
