Helping Hand is an organization created to provide resources to homeless single mothers in Milwaukee, as well as raise awareness on this issue. In July 2019, there were approximately 885 people experiencing homelessness in Milwaukee, and of that, 197 were children. We created a pamphlet of resources divided into four sections – housing, health and family planning, food, and employment. Each section has resources listed along with their services and contact information. We also created a social media campaign to encourage our followers to donate to the organizations helping homeless single mothers in Milwaukee.
