Project Description

MKEco is a geocaching box containing guided journeys that explore Milwaukee’s ecosystem. The user is encouraged to take multiple trips and collect supplies at predetermined geocaching sites. Each “journey map” will guide the user to the location and give them information about the area they are exploring creating a deeper understanding of native plants and what they need to survive. Each journey culminates in a species collected to build a mini MKE ecosystem at home.
