Bio

Braeden Harris is a student at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee and in his final year of the Design and Visual Communication program in the Peck School of the Arts. In addition to pursuing an undergraduate degree, he also serves as the Graphic Designer for the Milwaukee Panthers Athletics Department. He is fortunate to have built a strong network with people in many different areas of expertise that help him when he has questions or needs further insight on certain subjects. This has helped him to become more successful as well as become more knowledgeable as a well-rounded individual.

Project Description

Art supplies and art subscription services are expensive and inaccessible to many families. Additionally, the time and planning that go into creating art projects are another obstacle for busy parents. Creative Connect is a check-out system through public libraries that brings art back into the home. It provides projects that are for varying skill and age levels, and encourages creativity and problem solving family activities. This makes sure that art is a part of every kid’s childhood.
