Alex can often be found drawing various ideas he thinks about throughout the day and translates them in his sketchbook. He would consider this a place where, “all the magic happens” although the idea may not reveal the entire picture as it remains merely an abstract concept. Through a deep level of research and gaining inspiration from a variety of sources help further construct his innovative solutions, manipulating the image that was once sketched on paper. The assortment of options at this stage points him to the one design that has clarity, giving the drawing life. Regardless of the challenge, Alex’s model of design behavior will always remain the same…starting with a piece of paper, a pencil and his vision.

Project Description

A satori board is a fun and exciting way for children to perform various yoga poses with. The sole purpose of this product is to help increase focus through the learning process of yoga. The subtle curve component incorporated on the bottom tilts from side to side in order for the child to find their center of balance while also enhancing their concentration. A mandala blackboard can also be found on the backside which gives an opportunity to meditate through art. By coloring in certain areas with different color choices makes the board more individualized and unique to the user.
