Design Inspiring Change
I am a 22 year-old graphic designer, problem solver, and people-person from Milwaukee, WI. I am inspired by people, passions and culture, with a strong determination to change the world, even in some small way. I hope to use my skills in design to bring happiness to others, impact lives and address social issues. Currently attending University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, I am finishing classes in the Design & Visual Communications prgram, hoping to one day have my own business doing freelance design and getting to travel around the world, meeting people and sharing experiences. I have designed for the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, the e-NABLE community, and have developed a mobile app called Bloom for people living with Bi-Polar disorder. I am skilled in branding, typography, web design, video and prototyping, along with Adobe Suite programs like Illustrator, Photoshop, Premiere, Dreamweaver, InDesign and more. I see design as a never-ending, creative road; A road that allows me to learn and grow and solve and create and give back, all things I love to do. When I’m not designing, I am teaching yoga, being a nanny, cooking, and getting in a good laugh with friends.
