Design like you mean it.

John Koerner’s relationship with design started with his two earliest and still active hobbies: skateboarding and juggling. Before finishing grade school, he had interpreted the local landscape as a skateboard environment, studied the patterns of juggling tricks, and the mechanics of both juggling and skateboarding equipment.

Since then, John has been working to convey more experiential qualities to visual design by branching out into 3-dimensional experiences to better convey emotion, energy, and touch. At the same time he has been working with incorporating memorable, informative and educational experiences for the user. Now a Milwaukee-based designer and Spanish language student, John has been exploring better ways of explaining a message for the sake of learning. His goal: improve classroom learning through the use of design.
