Proctoring Services

UWM provides test administration or proctoring services to other educational institutions for students away from their campuses to facilitate distance learning. UWM charges a fee of $25 per test in which an additional charge may be imposed for tests that exceed four hours.  Fees will be paid by the examinee unless the test provider/institution agrees to pay them. UWM will verify photo identification from a school, employer, government agency, or other source, as specified by the test provider, checking to see that the signature and photo match the person presenting the identification. UWM offers examinees testing, via computer or paper-pencil means, in a controlled, proctored environment.

Examinee Proctor Scheduling Procedure

1) Examinee Log In or Create an account.  You can do this on our test registration site.
2) Request for Proctoring Exam.  Select ‘Correspondence Test Request’ and complete a request for each exam to be proctored. You will receive email notification that your request has been received along with additional instructions.  Approval to schedule a test date cannot be made until your test materials have been received and reviewed.
3) Contact your test provider to sent test materials. Materials can be emailed Or sent via:

4)Scheduling your Exam. Once your request and test materials have been received you will be notified of approval for proctoring services via email and you will be directed to the registration application to schedule your appointment. You will need to log into your account and select Correspondence-Computer Based or Correspondence-Paper Based and select a date and time. The test time listed is the earliest available test time. You will be able to adjust your start time once you choose a test date.

NOTE: UWM is a member in good standing of the National College Testing Association (NCTA);which is a referral service of  Consortium of College Testing Centers (CCTC).  UWM is expected to adhere to the CCTC guidelines as well as subscribe to and indicate compliance with the NCTA Professional Standards and Guidelines.
