The purpose of this handle is to be easily manipulated and to not require a lot of fine motor control. It can be turned with various body parts, assistive devices, or objects, in addition to a hand or fingers. Detailed Description (Description):

Photogragh of the bottom half of a door leading to stairs. The door is made of wood with a lever handle, and it is open halfway so you can only see the onner half of the door. the door is leading to a staircase to the left of the photo, and one step is visible. The flooring is off white linoleum tiles, and the steps appear to have the same surface. There is a metal edging at the top of the stairwell and the next step down. there is a very biggining on a railing against a white wall in the stairwell. On the right side of the picture, next to the door, thereis a foldable step stool with two steps. The bottom step is black and the top step is brown with a small metal handle above the top step. The wall behind the step stool is a yellow floral printed wallpaper.
