Lauren Selingo, MS, OTR/L is an occupational therapist and PhD student who has practice experience in behavioral health and geriatric rehabilitation. She graduated with a Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from East Carolina University in 2018 with a focus therapeutic group interventions. She has a Bachelor’s of Science in Occupational Studies from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee (2016). Lauren has been a teaching assistant at the masters level and is currently a project assistant who coordinates the many projects R₂D₂ is engaged in, while overseeing undergraduate student researchers. Her current work is also focused on conducting community outreach to initiate Access Ratings for Buildings use in communities to increase individuals’ awareness of building accessibility. Lauren’s doctoral research is on the use of Photovoice in examining the lived experience of various populations.
