MS, CSE Sayeda Farzana Aktar

R₂D₂ Center Research Assistant

Sayeda Farzana Aktar, MS, CSE is a computer scientist and PhD student who has practice experience in Samsung Electronics as a research engineer. She graduated with a Master’s degree in Computer Science from Lamar University, Texas in 2021 with a focus on Machine learning contributions to the healthcare system. She has a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science and Engineering from the Khulna University of Bangladesh (2012). Farzana has been a teaching assistant and research assistant at the master’s level and is currently a research assistant who coordinates the many projects R₂D₂ is engaged in. Her current works are focused on machine learning based smart home evaluation system design (projects- Access Ratings for Buildings and myHESTIA ). She also works on an intelligent system for medical devices evaluation as a system developer. Farzana’s doctoral research is on Artificial Intelligence based smarter choices for home evaluation.
