One group of female experts has set out to change that \u2014 transforming the way we seek and share facts.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cThe World Health Organization has deemed parallel to the pandemic, something happening called an \u2018info-demic,&#8217;\u201d said Dr. Amanda Simanek, UWM Associate Professor of Epidemiology.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In the uncharted world of COVID-19, we\u2019ve sought out heroes in hospitals, in classrooms, even at&nbsp;grocery stores.
