Multi-year merit scholarships are available for undergraduate students in public health at UWM. No application is necessary. All newly admitted students are automatically considered for these merit scholarships.
Graduate Scholarships / Fellowships
UWM’s Joseph J. Zilber School of Public Health awards approximately $100,000 of competitive scholarships annually. The average award is $5,000, which is equivalent to a 50% in-state tuition/fee remission.
Applications are due January 8, 2022 for Fall admission and consideration for funding.
All applicants applying for UWM Graduate School Fellowships (Advanced Opportunity Program Fellowship or Distinguished Graduate Student Fellowship) must submit their public health application to SOPHAS no later than January 3, 2022. Please note that a separate application for the Graduate School Fellowship is required, which is also due by January 3, 2022.
