This week Zilber school of Public Health continued to celebrate Public Health Week by hosting more events. Earlier in the week students held an exercise class to promote a better understanding of a healthy and active lifestyle. The students demonstrated different activities that you can do in your own home and explained the purpose and importance of that exercise.
This week Zilber also hosted the 2nd Annual Graduate Student Research Symposium. The event consisted of graduate students presenting present and past research related to Public Health. Earlier in the day Dean Peck and Elise Papke started the day with opening talks to kick off the rest of the presentations. Afterwards it was onto poster sharing and socializing. After a day of conversation and engagement, the symposium came to a close to wrap up this week’s events.
