PhD student Rose Hennessey receives graduate research award

Earlier this year, Community and Behavioral Health Promotion PhD student Rose Hennessey was selected as a winner of the UWM Women’s & Gender Studies Student Research Paper and Project Contest.

As a winner of the contest, Hennessey was invited to attend the Women’s & Gender Studies Student Awards Ceremony on March 15, 2018 at the UWM Hefter Conference Center, 3271 N. Lake Drive. In addition to celebrating UWM students that evening, the event also honored winners of the annual Wisconsin Women Making History Essay Contest for MPS middle and high school students.

Hennessey received the 3rd place award for graduate research from her research project, Care for the Caregiver: Exploring the Intersections of Identity. Her parents joined her at the ceremony.
